The logo design process below typically encompasses steps such as initial consultation, research and inspiration gathering, sketching and conceptualization, digital rendering, refinement and revisions, and finalization of the logo design. Each stage is crucial in ensuring that the logo aligns with your brand identity and effectively communicates your message.

1. Creative Concepts Phase
This journey begins with, “What do you want people to feel when they see your logo”.
The following steps will allow us to co-create this representation of your business.
- Questionnaire: you will be required to fill in a questionnaire.
- Zoom chat: to discuss and decided on a concept and symbols.
- Design Prototypes: I will design 5 draft prototype logos from the chosen concept with the chosen symbols (silhouette line or solid) in black & white for the client to choose from.
- Present: via zoom chat, present the draft prototype logos to the client, narrow it down and make modifications.
This applies if you request Dazzas Designs to assist with your concept & suggestions of symbols that best represent your business.
Please note: If you do know what you want (already have a concept & selected symbols), the cost/time of this phase will be reduced. invoiced at $40 per hour into a block of 6 hours.
If undecided on the draft prototype logos after this block of 6 hours, you can request new prototypes at an additional cost of $40 per hour, invoiced into a block of 4 hours.
2. Create/Refine Phase
Once you have made the choice from the prototypes, Darryl will create that chosen prototype logo in Adobe Illustrator.
Please note: cost depends on the amount of time creating that logo in Adobe Illustrator and is invoiced at $40 per hour.
3. Typography Phase
Make 10 Typography variations prototypes and display all variations in a PDF document for you to view.
Please note: invoiced at $40 per hour into a block of 3 hours. If typography is not requested in the logo design, then this phase will not need to be implemented.
4. Colour Phase
Make 10 colour variations prototypes and display in display all variations in a PDF document for you to view.
Please note: invoiced at $40 per hour into a block of 3 hours. If you do know what colors you want, then this phase will not need to be implemented.
5. Delivery Phase
Provide the following Deliveries;
- Logo – for Print: PDF & PNG (transparent background so you can add to other prints).
- Logo – for Web: PNG (horizontal or portrait-shaped versions with transparent & colour background versions).
- Logo – for Social Media page profile picture (circular and square-shaped versions).
- Logo illustrator (ai) files – for future re-edits.
Please note: cost depends on the amount of time it takes to create/deliver the requested deliveries and is invoiced at $40 per hour.
Terms & Conditions
- The estimated time will vary depending on the number of times changes and modifications are requested.
- There will be an invoice sent to the client upon completion of each phase, each invoice must be paid before continuing on to the next phase$100 deposit must be paid in full before any work is done.
- Money Transfer is no extra cost and is preferred but if you want to pay via Credit Card (PayPal) there will be an extra 5% charge on all invoices.
- All modifications are deemed complete once the final invoice for the final phase has been issued and invoiced at $40 an hour with a minimum of a 2-hour charge.
- The delivery of complete working files in required formats is not released until payment of the final invoice is received with cleared funds showing in the account.
